WEEZING CARDS GUIDE (JP VER.?How do you tell Weezing cards apart?Check the number in the bottom corner (e.g. 110/165 on the 151 Weezing). The 1997–1999 cards have no set number — the No.110 on them is the Pokédex number — so go by the set symbol, level and art: LV.27 is the Mystery of the Fossils card, LV.24 is Dark Weezing, LV.31 is Koga’s Weezing, and the vending card has a glossy finish. For the Rocket Gang Dark Weezing, look for the holo; the Pokémon Web reprint is non-holo.)
FIRST WEEZING · JUN 21, 1997?Weezing's first card came in Mystery of the Fossils, released June 21, 1997 — over two years before the English Fossil set.

JAPANESE WEEZING CARD CHECKLIST

[8 CARDS] 1997 FOSSIL TO 2025

Weezing evolves from Koffing (see the Koffing cards guide), and its first card came in the 1997 Mystery of the Fossils set. The cards worth chasing are that first card, the Rocket Gang Dark Weezing holo, a glossy 1998 vending-machine card and the 151 Master Ball mirror, plus Koga’s Weezing, the e-Card holo, the 2004 Dark Weezing holo and Team Rocket’s Weezing art rare. These 8 are the ones worth finding. The 4 marked ★ are the ones to look for first: the Mystery of the Fossils card, the Rocket Gang Dark Weezing, the 1998 vending Weezing and the 151 Master Ball mirror 110/165.
