FIRST PIDGEOT · MAR 5, 1997?Pidgeot wasn’t in the 1996 Base Set. Its first card came in Pokémon Jungle, released March 5, 1997 — over two years before the English Jungle set.

JAPANESE PIDGEOT CARD CHECKLIST

Pidgeot skipped the 1996 Base Set — its first Japanese card was the Pokémon Jungle holo in March 1997. Since then it has had Gym Leader and movie cards, an e-Card holo, a delta species holo, a Mega EX, a V and ex cards, ending with the Special Art Rare that closes Jerky’s Pidgey-line story. These 12 are the ones worth finding. The 5 marked ★ are the ones to look for first: the 1997 Jungle holo, the 2001 e-Card holo 123/128, the 2006 delta species holo, the 151 Master Ball mirror 018/165 and the ex Special Art Rare 136/108.
