JAPANESE MAGIKARP CARD CHECKLIST

[7 CARDS] 1996 BASE SET TO 2025

Magikarp is a weak Pokémon with some very strong cards. Its first card was in the 1996 Japanese Base Set, and its most famous one is the 1998 “University Magikarp”, a prize card that never came out in English. Shining Magikarp from 2000 and the 2023 Triplet Beat art rare are the other big ones, plus two Misty’s Magikarp and the 151 card. These 7 are the ones worth finding. The 3 marked ★ are the ones to look for first: the University Magikarp, Shining Magikarp and the art rare 080/073.
